Network Engineer

Responsibilities & Duties

• Provide IT infrastructure and security strategies and implementation plans.
• Network solution development and support enabling business service delivery channels
• Support strategic technology architecture development
• Incorporate network security into enterprise network services
• Plan and coordinate the setup, installation, configuration, and maintenance of Cisco switches, firewall, and routers.
• Create and maintain networking specific documentation.
• Administer and maintain global network systems and policies
• Support/troubleshoot network infrastructure issues and coordinate with vendors as needed for resolutions
• Provide additional IT infrastructure support and project assistance as required.
• Provide 3rd level escalation support to other IT department
• Work with the existing team members on infrastructure projects
• Maintain complete technical documentation
• Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness

Job Qualifications/Requirements

• 5+ years network infrastructure design, administration, & maintenance.
• CCNP or equivalent experience with Cisco switches, firewalls, routers Cisco ISE and voice
• Palo Alto Experience, F5 Load Balancers Experience, Prisma Access and CloudGenix Experience is a plus
• Network monitoring and capacity planning (SolarWinds, Status Cake, New Relic)
• Design and delivery of redundancy in networks supporting business continuity solutions
• Integration of IT security, audit, and regulatory compliance requirements into network architecture
• Enhancing performance, and availability of corporate network and integration with cloud environments
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to execute on plans within budget and time constraints
• Strong technical leadership and business collaboration skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Willingness to provide afterhours support (as required).
