Job Title: Sr Software Engineer – SQL DEVELOPER

• 5 plus years of experience with MS SQL Server development
• Should have work experience in MS SQL Server 2012 or above. Experience in 2019 is a plus.
• Strong Experience writing complex queries in stored procedures and functions related to CRUD operations involving multiple tables/views/CTEs
• Deep knowledge of levels of normalization and keeping de-normalization in mind while designing schemas/tables and ensuring data integrity and performance
• Expertise in building high performance complex reporting queries while applying SQL aggregate functions on large tables and views.
• Understanding of Azure SQL Server, Indexes, CTE, Temporal Tables, SQL Profiler, etc
• Ability to work with other developers and engineers to analyze database performance and identify problems in areas such as: execution plans, index coverage, and SQL server statistics.
• A thorough understanding of Performance Monitoring, Tuning and Optimization, using native and third-party monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Experience supporting SSIS, SSRS, replication(a plus).
• PowerShell scripting experience with ability to write automated scripts and strong knowledge of system tables and DMV’s is required. (a plus).
